Hi, I’m Cat!

I’m a Product Designer based outside of Chicago, currently designing healthcare SaaS products that support complex, real-world workflows.

I love taking complicated problems and making them feel simple on the other side. My work spans product strategy, interaction design, research, prototyping, and design systems, with experience across both systems-heavy platforms and consumer products.

I’m especially drawn to work where thoughtful design can reduce friction, bring clarity to complicated processes, and make something genuinely enjoyable for the people using it.

Outside of design, you’ll usually find me at the barn, testing a new recipe, or catching a movie.

What I’m Up To

Currently, I’m designing healthcare technology that supports pharmacist prescribing, clinical workflows, billing, and onboarding. I work closely with product, engineering, and clinical teams from early problem definition through implementation.

My recent work has included owning end-to-end product workflows, leading usability research, rebuilding and scaling design systems, and helping teams turn research and operational needs into better product experiences.

I’m also a Local Leader for IxDF Chicago, where I’m helping create more opportunities for designers to connect, learn from one another, and build community in person.

At the heart of all of it, I’m interested in finding clarity within complexity: understanding where friction comes from, balancing user needs with business and technical constraints, and designing experiences that feel intuitive, thoughtful, and easy to use.
